The Paolucci family

The Sabbionare winery takes its name from "Sabbia" (sand), because of the very sandy surroundings. This beautiful family business once began with a small vineyard, left by father Giuseppe Paolucci to his son Sauro and daughter-in-law Donatella. They inherited not only the vineyard but also the passion and love for wine. In the mid-1990s, with the help of ultramodern equipment and highly specialised oenologists, they succeeded in producing wine for the market, and no longer only for their own use. And what wine! Since then they have continued to grow, and their children Mirco and Giusi now also put their shoulders to the wheel at Sabbionare.

You can taste the warmth of this warm Italian family in the glass, something reinforced by the dizzying value for money. Sabbionare is located in Montecarotto, in the province of Ancona and in the heart of the "Castelli di Jesi" region, world-famous for its Verdicchio grapes.

"A family that has worked for generations to bring out the best in its own grapes."
