AppiaVini ("we", "us") is responsible for the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data do we collect?

  • Identification and contact details: name, address, e-mail address, telephone number
  • Order data: purchase history, billing address, delivery address
  • Payment data: at present payment is always made on collection; we do not currently process online payment data via an external payment provider
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device data, via cookies (see point 5)
  • Communication data: messages you send us via the contact form or e-mail
  • Newsletter data: e-mail address, if you subscribe to our newsletter

4. With whom do we share your data?

We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with:

  • Shipping/courier services: for the delivery of your order
  • Google (Google Analytics): for website statistics
  • Odoo S.A.: for hosting the website, webshop and sending newsletters via the built-in e-mail marketing module
  • Bookkeeper/accountant: for the legally required bookkeeping

Some of these parties may process data outside the EU (e.g. Google). In that case they ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses).

5. Cookies

Our website uses cookies:

  • Necessary cookies: needed for the proper functioning of the website (e.g. shopping cart, login session) — these do not require consent.
  • Analytical cookies (Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the site, so that we can improve it.
  • Functional cookies: e.g. for our newsletter subscription via Odoo’s e-mail marketing module.

On your first visit we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies via a cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the website.

6. How long do we keep your data?

  • Order data: 7 years, in accordance with Belgian accounting obligations
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe
  • Analytical data: in accordance with the standard retention period of Google Analytics (usually 14 months)

7. Your rights

As a data subject you have the right to: request access, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, request portability, and withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us via info@appiavini.be. We reply within the legal period of 1 month.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access (e.g. SSL encryption on our website, restricted access to customer data).

We may amend this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the last change is always stated at the top of this document.
